Message: I want to say that as a temporary labor worker who works here how grateful I am to work here. This company has helped me to survive and to be a better worker. I have met many of those who work here. This company is NOT for the weak or lazy worker for those who consider trying to work here. You will learn to work hard and push yourself to become a survivor and a real man that can learn many things of what it takes to work in a asphalt business with important machinery. The men here are no mere angels but are hard workers that can keep the big machines running to produce some of the best asphalt materials in this side of the planet. People come and go but one thing is certain I have learned to appreciate my money and manage it better by working here. Also the importance of the equipment that keep these big machines running. And never forget the number one issue at any job site have I found here: that is:SAFETY. I want to thank the people here who have been kind enough to let me work here. Lane is the man. A no nonsense man who cares about everyone of the employees. There's also Leroy. I have learned that he has been here for a long time as well and does what needs to be done to make sure the machines keep running. If it weren't for him many times would be wasted on repairs and costly fixes. He keeps the machines working. Then there's all the mechanics. There Bryce and Luna among 2. They are always on hand to get the job done right and to supervise the effectual running of the vital machines. There are other mechanics too. My supervisors are great survivors with in-depth knowledge and patience. They ALL have a sense of humor like medicine for the soul. You will need it in tough jobs like this. Leo and Chris. These men have made me all the more grateful for learning and working among the men here at Century Asphalt. If you get hurt at a place like this it can be said it's nobody's fault but your own.. but here you will also learn to stay on your toes and see to it that you don't take your time here for granted. May God guide and protect all and eveyone who works here. This jobsite is a challenge to consider and a mountain to climb. I have learned many lessons here on building respect, trust and forgiveness and that a real man can make it even here if they will just learn to work hard push themselves to not give up because it's not just life but the elements of everything that keep you from succeeding.
