Holiday Inn Express & Suites South Padre Island, an IHG Hotel

Message: What a nice little hotel. Breakfast was good as well. We could see the sunset from the parking lot. We were only here for one night, so we didn't make it to the beach, but I would definitely stay here again. Oh, and I absolutely loved the chaise lounge!

Message: Great service, great view, great food and drinks! Staff went above and beyond! Yessica helped coordinate our event and very considerate! Vicky helped with our food order and helped get it delivered! Camille was great in making sure we had what we needed each day! Randy was great and helping keep everything safe and secured! Best experience by far! So many more helped and so kind but didn’t get to catch all their names…. Thank you Holiday Inn staff!

Message: We booked this facility because of all the reviews on the breakfast. The breakfast is 10/10! 5 stars. Every day it was amazing and we stayed 4 days. Boiled eggs, sausage patties, some days sausage links, sometimes egg omelets, oatmeal, yogurts, bagels, sausage and gravy, hot biscuits, pancakes, toast, oranges, apples, and cereal. The juice was good too, not watered down like many other places. The pool was great. It's located in the perfect spot too. The pool is located in a shaded part so it stays cool during the hottest hours of the day. If you're wanting to tan, the pool is not the spot. The hot tub was great as well, very hot. A very short walk to the beach. Just minutes. Clean towels, dove products in the room like lotion, hand soap, shampoo & conditioner. The staff was very polite and attentive. One of the elevators was not working, so at times there was a wait and backed up. Other than that we can't complain.

Message: This is our first time staying here. We reserved two rooms, one for my husband and myself and one for my mom and her husband. We arrived two hours early and asked if we could check in early and the manager was more than happy to because they were expecting a busy day. She was very nice; however, the young man that helped me needs some customer service classes. He wasn’t horrible, but he didn’t make me feel very welcome and it felt more like we were bugging him for doing his job. We walked to the beach the second morning. The hotel staff said it was a five minute walk and they weren’t wrong. It was a pleasant walk. When we returned, we stopped at the pool for a dip; however, the water looked a little murky. It definitely needed a cleaning. Both rooms were clean and had the necessary amenities. We wouldn’t mind staying here again if we need to do so last minute.
